Mitchell Fine Art was proud to host a cocktail and networking event for the Wesley Medical Research group.

Wesley Medical Research supports and encourages medical health professionals to take part in ground breaking research, not only to contribute to a greater understanding of diseases, but to translate scientific research results into clinical applications with a focus on bringing immediate improvements to patient outcomes and quality of life.

The Chief Executive Officer of Wesley Medical Research, Professor David Patterson was on hand to give an inspiring insight into the work being undertaken by his team, and how Wesley Medical Research have situated themselves as a world leader in medical research innovation and excellence.

The gallery has a rich history in Australian Aboriginal and Contemporary art and Business Manager, Sharon Mitchell spoke about the company’s passion for Indigenous and emerging artists. 

On display were a selection of works by Australia’s leading contemporary and Indigenous artists with a common theme representing colour.

A silent auction was also held on the night which raised additional fund for this wonderfule cause.
