Franck Gohier now represented by Mitchell Fine Art

It is with great pleasure Mitchell Fine Art announces its representation of Franck Gohier.

Born in France, Franck Gohier has resided in Darwin since 1975.

An accomplished printmaker and visual artist, he has recommenced paintings after a 4-year hiatus. A practicing artist since 1987 his works have been acquired by Artbank, the Australian National Gallery Canberra, the Casula Powerhouse Art Centre Collection, Gold Coast Art Gallery, Griffith University, the Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney, as well as numerous regional galleries and private collections throughout the world.

His artwork is steeped in his political and social consciousness and is a reflection of society and its faults, frailties and triumphs.

Examples of his artwork are on display now at Mitchell Fine Art Gallery, Brisbane.

Congratulations to Mirra Whale on winning the  2019 EMSLA Still Life Art Award.
