Congratulations to Deirdre Bean and Min-Woo Bang on their selection as finalists in the 2020 Muswellbrook Art Prize.

The Muswellbrook Art Prize is an acquisitive art competition held annually, this year the prize attracted 553 entries. 

Deirdre Bean is an internationally awarded natural history artist. Influenced by traditional painting methods, Deirdre brings her fine illustrative style into a fresh contemporary practice.

Min-Woo Bang captures the transitional moods of the Australian landscape. Bang’s cloudscape paintings are both ethereal and mesmerising, capturing the charm of the Australian landscape and the absolute enormity of its skies.

Winners announced 14th March at the Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre in the Muswellbrook Shire, New South Wales.
