“Malmsbury Viaduct, spanning the Coliban River, is one of the many surviving landmarks from the 1850s gold rush not far from my studio in Chewton, Central Victoria.

Its set against a Botanic Garden of the same era, planted with Dutch Elms and other non-indigenous trees, making it one of the few places where a true autumn can be witnessed. Because of its picturesque beauty it has become one of my favourite painting spots."
