Annalisa Ferraris
Annalisa Ferraris is a Sydney based artist, known for her hard edge minimalist painting and empty swimming pool works. Her artworks feature a sharp execution of shadows and a play on depth and space.
Ferraris encourages the viewer to appreciate beauty in the mundane and to question what lies beneath the surface
“I like the idea of a more sombre abandoned scene that feels like someone was just there,” says Ferraris.
Having graduated with Honours from the National Art School, Annalisa Ferraris is a two time Brett Whiteley Travelling Art scholarship finalist, a three time Mosman Art Prize finalist, and a finalist in the Paddington Art Prize and the Eutick Memorial Still Life Art (EMSLA) prize.
Annalisa Ferraris has also featured in publications including The Design Files, Harpers Bazaar, Vogue and The Financial Review.
